MINA Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

MINA ("the app") is a gym workout app made by CodeMyLab. Gyms use MINA to give their members workout plans, record attendance and follow progress. This policy explains what data the app collects, why, who can see it and what you can do about it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

  • Your gym decides to use MINA, links your account to the gym and manages your membership, plan and subscription dates.
  • CodeMyLab runs the app and the servers and handles the data on the gym's behalf. Questions or requests can go to either your gym or to us at the address above.

2. What we collect

Data Examples Why
Account Name, email address and a Google account ID when you sign in with Google To create your account and sign you in
Gym membership Your gym, role (member, coach, owner), subscription start and end dates To show you the right gym and let staff manage memberships
Fitness questionnaire Experience, goal, birth year, height, training days per week, body weight To suggest a starting level and a plan
Workout activity Check-ins (date and time), workouts, exercises, weights, reps, notes you write on machines, level To show your plan, progress and streak, and to let your coach follow you
Health information Medical conditions or injuries you choose to add (title, notes, body area) So your coach can avoid exercises that may harm you. Only with your explicit consent
Messages Messages your gym sends you inside the app Gym announcements and coach messages
Technical data IP address, device type, app version, error and access logs on our server Security, abuse prevention and fixing errors

Sign in with Google: from your Google account we receive only your name, email address and account ID. We use them only to create your account and sign you in. We do not use them for advertising, and we do not sell them or share them with anyone except as described in section 4.

Camera: used only to scan the gym's check-in QR code. The picture is not stored or sent to us.

We do not collect your location or contacts, and the app has no advertising or third-party analytics. We do not sell your data.

3. Health information

  • Added only by you, after you agree to share it with your gym.
  • Stored encrypted on our servers.
  • Visible only to the owner and coaches of your own gym, never to other members or other gyms.
  • You can delete a condition at any time in the app (My account → Medical conditions); your coach will no longer see it.

4. Who can see your data

  • Your gym's owner and coaches: your profile, plan, attendance, workouts, progress and health information. Staff of one gym cannot see another gym's members.
  • If you move to another gym: your body weight and measurements stay with you and you keep seeing them. Your new gym's staff see only what you record while you are a member there.
  • Other members: only an anonymous count of how many people are training now. They never see your name or workouts.
  • CodeMyLab: only when needed to run, secure or support the service.
  • Service providers that help us run the app, under contract and only for that purpose:
    • Google — sign-in with Google
    • Bunny.net — storage and delivery of exercise videos
    • Cloudflare — servers, database, file storage, domain and website (data stored in Europe)
    • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivery of push notifications (a random device token and the notification text)
  • Authorities, only when Jordanian law requires it.

5. Where your data is kept

On Cloudflare's servers in Europe and, so the app works offline, a copy of your own data on your phone. Data sent between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS).

6. How long we keep it

  • While your account is active, we keep your data so your history and progress stay available.
  • If you leave a gym, that gym keeps your attendance and workout history for its records while the gym uses MINA.
  • If you delete your account (in the app or by email), we erase your personal data: your name, email and sign-in, body weight and measurements, health information, level answers and machine notes. Your gym keeps your past workouts, check-ins and subscription dates without your name, so its attendance numbers stay correct. Deleting in the app takes effect immediately; an email request is handled within 30 days. Backups are overwritten within 30 days.
  • Server logs are deleted within 30 days.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, withdraw your consent to health information, or ask what data we hold about you. Write to privacy@minagym.com or ask your gym. We answer within 30 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority in Jordan.

Delete your account: in the app under Profile → Delete account, or by email as described at https://minagym.com/delete-account.

8. Children

MINA is meant for gym members. Members under 18 should use the app only with the consent of a parent or guardian, given to the gym when they join.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, encryption of health information at rest, access limited per gym, and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

10. Changes

We will post any change on this page and update the date above. For important changes we will also tell you in the app.
